Diagnosing and Repairing Fuel Systems

This course improves the participant’s ability to properly diagnose fuel delivery systems through increasing knowledge of fuel management and the requirements of the system to deliver the proper amount of fuel to meet engine demand. During the course, participants will:
o Understand the effects of temperature and pressure on fuel vaporization
o Know how to test for alcohol contaminations
o Understand different fuel delivery systems
o Diagnose fuel systems correctly with effective pressure and electrical test procedures
o Understand different types of fuel injectors
o Be aware of common mistakes that can lead to misdiagnosis
